Hispanic Catholics throughout the Diocese celebrated their faith and heritage during the annual Misa Hispana on Sept. 9 at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption in Saginaw.

Bishop Robert Gruss celebrated the bilingual Mass in Spanish and English, with Father José María Cabrera concelebrating and Deacon Larry Gayton serving as deacon.

The Mass honored the rich traditions of the Hispanic community through music and prayer to Our Lady of Guadalupe.
