10 speakers announced for March for Life in Saginaw
Bishop Robert Gruss will join nine local leaders in leading prayer and speaking at the upcoming ecumenical local March for Life in Saginaw on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023.
“We are marching to give a voice to the voiceless and to change hearts,” said Lori Becker, Coordinator of Diocesan Outreach for the Diocese of Saginaw. “We hope that the march will save lives and let moms know that we are here to offer resources, support and prayers for them and their baby.”
The local March will take place on the same day as the National March for Life in Washington, D.C., where people of all faiths will walk in the 50th annual March for Life and celebrate the momentous overturn of Roe v. Wade.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend this local event which begins at 9 a.m. at the Cathedral of Mary of Assumption.

9 a.m. Ecumenical Rally at the Cathedral, 615 Hoyt Ave., Saginaw
10 a.m. March for Life from the Cathedral to Holy Family Parish, 1525 S. Washington Ave., Saginaw
11 a.m. 30-minute Ecumenical Prayer Service at Holy Family Parish
11:30 a.m. Reception in the lower level of Holy Family Parish featuring resource tables from various pro-life organizations, snacks and refreshments. The reception is sponsored by The Catholic Community Foundation of Mid-Michigan.
Note: Shuttle buses will be available to and from the Cathedral and Holy Family Parish
